I'm running out of clever blog post intros, especially when I get to stages like this where I'm not really doing anything new or exciting. (As I've said before, I definitely still enjoy these stages; they're good for stress relief and relaxing. I just don't know how to write about them interestingly. Sorry.)

Here's the mise-en-place:
The mise-en-place photo for stage 32.

I started by adding another set of mostly-empty rooms.
Each side of the grand staircase has three rooms with red tile floors. The outermost rooms have a white tile bed, but they are otherwise unfurnished.

Next I added the base plate for the next level, and the hull walls for this level of the ship.
The hull has been topped with 1x2 bricks with holes in their sides, and plates have been placed on top of them along the sides and across the front.

Next came the other half of the chessboard lobby from 2.4.24.
The next level has brown and tan checkered floors. Each side has two quarter-circle tiles on either side of a 1x1 round stud.
In stage 24, the quarter-circles were oriented such that they looked like chairs. Here, with them pointing directly away from the central studs, I'm no longer sure that's accurate. What do you think the furniture on this level is supposed to be? Here's the photo from the earlier stage again, so you can see them side by side.
A very similar photo to the previous one, with the quarter-circle tiles oriented differently.

The last part of this stage involved building up the hull walls a bit more. First I made these ten structural assemblies; I forgot to take a photo of them on the build, but you'll see that below, and you've seen these in earlier sections.
Ten identical assemblies, made of a 2x4 plate with a 1x2 piece at a right angle, on which are placed two 1x1 bricks with headlights.

Next I made the window strips that have also shown up in previous stages.
Four identical sub-assemblies, in various stages of construction. They are each a 1x1 tower of white and clear plates and blocks attached to a yellow 1x6 plate, such that the clear plates look like windows.

Someone asked on Discord how I get the 1x1 towers aligned so the edges are flush. I'll show you. When I first build them, I try to get them mostly aligned but don't worry too much about exact precision.
One of the towers, without the yellow strip. The pieces are mostly lined up but not quite perfectly.
I place it on a smooth flat surface -- it does need to be smooth for this to work well, doing it on my work table, which is slightly textured, doesn't quite work as well -- and I press down, forcing the pieces to rotate so they're all flush with the surface.
The same piece as in the previous photo, with my fingers pressing down on it.
That's it, really. I sometimes need to repeat that step, if I didn't apply pressure evenly along the whole tower, but it's not complicated.

Anyway, I added those four towers to the build, in the gap created from the ten structural pieces mentioned previously.
The towers have been placed into the gap on the ship, with the windows facing out.

Then I built two longer towers to fill in the rest of the gap on each side.
Two similar towers, this time attached to blue 1x8 plates.
The new towers have been added, so that there are windows running down the full length of the build on each side.

That's it for stage 32! Thanks as always for reading.
