I wrapped up section five by building the final funnel and adding the lifeboats and lifeboat cranes. You've seen all of these elements before, and I don't have much commentary, so let's dive in with the mise-en-place.

I built the base for the funnel.
A 6x10 plate with structural elements, including the rear pins, added.

More structural elements, including the front pins, have been added.

The walls have been built up to full height.

Deck tiles and railings have been added around the hole in the middle for the actual funnel.

Then I built the funnel itself.
The bottom third of the funnel.

The structural pieces that will interface with the pins to hold the funnel in place have been added to the bottom.

I put them together, and added it to the main build.
The funnel has been added to the funnel base sub-assembly.

Then it was time for a trivia break.

Finally, I added the lifeboat cranes, and built and added the lifeboats.
Five lifeboat cranes have been added to each side of the section; a pair for each lifeboat, and a fifth one pointing back towards the lifeboat at the edge of the previous section.

That's it for stage 35, and that's it for section five. I haven't taken one yet, so here's a lit up photo of this cross-section, even though I didn't actually work on it at all in this stage.
